Key Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in oil & gas logistics coordination, including completions, workover, drilling, and production operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Basic knowledge of production operations, completions, drilling, workover (especially vacuum trucks), and logistics
  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule and remain seated for extended periods
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
  • Water hauling dispatch and coordination experience is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technology proficiency (75% of the role is computer-based) - working in a remote operations center with multiple computer monitors

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as the central point of contact for all logistics needs related to production operations, with potential expansion to drilling, completions, and workover
  • Dispatch vacuum trucks using the most cost-effective routes
  • Identify the most efficient and economical routes for logistics services
  • Utilize forecasts from Asset to proactively schedule necessary logistics
  • Communicate preferred disposal methods to trucking companies
  • Ensure a feedback loop for truck requests to the field
  • Manage ordering and call-out activities
  • Utilize the preferred Transportation Management System
  • Implement strategies set by Category Management and Strategic Sourcing
  • Handle inbound calls and requests from Production Operations and Field staff
  • Coordinate and track Field Logistics services
  • Oversee vacuum trucking services supporting Flowback, Tank Batteries, and Service Work
  • Manage trucking services (Kill Trucks, Pump Trucks, Hot Shots, etc.)
  • Coordinate Surface Rental Equipment (Light Towers, Porta Potties, etc.)
