This position serves as an integral part of the accounting team, requiring your commitment to ensuring accuracy and timely processing of invoices for payment. This job requires a high degree of detail and excellence in communication skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing invoices and check requests from various departments for accuracy and proper general ledger account assignment, as well as appropriate approval.
  • Review and process employee expense reimbursement.
  • Prepare and process year-end forms such as 1099's.
  • Maintain record of vendor data and tax identification numbers.
  • Process vendor statements each month by the 25th.
  • Balance all accounts owed and distribute checks/credit card payment no later than the 10th of the month.
  • Internal and external account reconciliations.
  • Any other duties assigned by management. 

Skills and Abilities Desired:

  • Minimum of 1 year accounts payable experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and GL accounts preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication.
  • Works well independently as well as part of a team.
