Due to our continued growth and expansion, we're seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our Omaha team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a dynamic company with a global reach. You'll play a vital part in championing our accounts and inventory management processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the Accounts Receivable process, aiming to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Manage Accounts Payable processes effectively.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed.
  • Maintain and analyze the North American cash flow statement.
  • Record and manage intercompany transfers accurately.
  • Contribute to the budgeting process by providing relevant financial data.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 4 years of accounting experience or a relevant accounting degree.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable and payable management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • A positive and collaborative attitude that aligns with our company culture.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero experience is a plus).
  • Ability to read and interpret financial reports effectively.
  • Solid understanding of US tax regulations and revenue recognition principles.
  • Experience with inventory management software (Fishbowl experience is a plus).
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to take on diverse tasks.
