Summary
The Business Development Specialist will work in tandem with the sales department, turning over leads to be quoted and sold. The Business Development Specialist is expected to manage accounts, meet monthly and quarterly sales targets, and follow the sales strategy as assigned. The expectation is 40+ hours per week through “road mapping”, cold calling, in-person appointments, networking, company meetings, etc.
Duties
- Gather relevant job / project data.
- Coordinate with various departments to manage the sales transaction from inception to completion.
- Conduct market research to remain knowledgeable of competitors and product offerings.
- Identify new business opportunities by market research, networking, etc.
- Create strategies to assist the branch and overall organization achieve its goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Acceptable MVR to be added to our auto insurance.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Acceptable Drug Screen Results – Pre-Employment
- 2+ years’ experience in a sales role in same or similar industry OR 5 + years’ experience in a service tech role within the industry
