Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have 3 plus years of corporate, transactional, real estate or business law experience, excellent analytical and writing skills, and the ability to manage significant portions of complex projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and contract negotiations.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Draft and negotiate mergers & acquisitions and related agreements.
  • Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Work closely with partners on corporate transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in corporate transactions.
  • Coordinate with in-house counsel, firm colleagues, and other professionals to address day-to-day corporate matters.
  • Continue to develop skills to counsel clients on a broad range of corporate matters.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Nebraska state bar and in good standing.
  • 3 plus years of experience in corporate law or related areas.
  • Proficient analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and matters simultaneously.
  • Team player.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards with a strong work ethic.
