Job Summary & Core Competencies


The Marketing Manager plays an integral role on the Marketing team and will be responsible for developing and leading revenue generating marketing efforts across Fortis varying verticals. This position will work with the different sales divisions to create marketing campaigns that develop a go to market strategy, generate leads, and drive lead stage conversion. The Marketing Manager role requires a hands-on person that is accountable for growth within specific partnerships and generating marketing attributable revenue through campaigns and programs targeted at the partner's audience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years marketing experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience in strategic marketing, revenue generation, partnership development, or campaign management and/or financial services/payments, e-commerce, SaaS or FinTech industry experience.
  • Exhibit exceptional verbal and presentation communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the sales funnel, marketing attribution, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Proven analytical skills, ability to assess opportunities, and make decisions based on ROI and effectiveness of different programs.
  • Experience with HubSpot or comparable marketing automation software and PMS a plus (e.g., Monday.com).
  • Growth mindset; willing to take on measurable risk.
Requirements:

Role Responsibilities

  • Support business partners with planning and execution of channel activities and events.
  • Ability to do comprehensive market research on industries, competitors, trends, and ICP’s.
  • Understand the partners and their client profiles - serve as their voice and be intimately familiar with the pain points, goals, drivers, motivators, challenges, trends, demographics, and characteristics of the audience to build strong marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze and leverage our comprehensive go to market assets around content strategy, partner campaigns, and marketing programs.
  • Identify specific plans to best leverage identified addressable markets, market share opportunities, competitive positioning, growth objectives and revenue target.
  • Build inbound and outbound marketing strategies aligned with sales efforts to drive lead generation.
  • Serve as the marketing representative with partnership organizations and execute trackable marketing plans.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the marketing strategies targeted to partners and customers within multiple verticals.
  • Deliver messaging direction and contribute to the content creation process, including collateral, blog posts, social media posts, email templates, presentation templates, etc. and help drive PR-related activities to promote awareness within the different verticals.
  • Ensure marketing channel deliverables are consistently managed - launched on time, within budget and properly monitored.
  • Gather data on the results and create reports to show what worked and what was less effective for different verticals and audiences.
