Job Summary: The Senior IT Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and improving IT systems and processes to support business objectives. This role involves evaluating and implementing technology solutions, managing IT projects, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that IT systems meet organizational needs. The Senior IT Analyst will provide strategic insights, manage complex IT initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in IT operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate existing IT systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather and document requirements, and translate them into effective technology solutions.
  • Design and implement IT solutions, including software applications, infrastructure improvements, and system integrations, to support business goals.
  • Manage IT projects from inception to completion, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and progress monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, including system specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Monitor and analyze IT system performance, providing recommendations for enhancements and resolving technical issues as they arise.
  • Work closely with vendors, consultants, and internal teams to evaluate and implement new technologies and solutions.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on IT project status, system performance, and improvement initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to IT policies, procedures, and best practices, including data security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance IT systems and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT analysis, system design, or a related field, with a strong track record of managing complex IT projects and improving technology solutions.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and tools, including knowledge of software applications, databases, and infrastructure technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in evaluating and optimizing IT systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools, including the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to IT systems and operations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technology trends and evolving business needs, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
