- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on economic analysis to support senior management and organizational decision-making.
- Conduct thorough analyses of macroeconomic and microeconomic factors, including market conditions, policy changes, and global economic developments.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports, forecasts, and economic assessments to senior management and stakeholders.
- Supervise and mentor a team of economic analysts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality analysis and research.
- Collaborate with finance, strategy, and product teams to integrate economic insights into business planning, investment decisions, and policy development.
- Monitor and analyze economic trends, policy changes, and industry developments to anticipate their impact on the organization and its markets.
- Manage relationships with external research organizations, economic advisors, and industry experts to enhance the quality and breadth of economic analysis.
- Stay informed about advancements in economic research methodologies, tools, and technologies to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
- Develop and implement strategies to address complex economic challenges and opportunities faced by the organization.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in economic analysis, research, or a related role, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and providing strategic insights.
- Advanced understanding of economic principles, quantitative analysis techniques, and economic modeling.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., STATA, R, MATLAB) and economic modeling tools.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated economic concepts to senior management and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team of analysts, with strong leadership and management capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of global economic trends, policies, and their implications for business and markets.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications or training in economics, data analysis, or related areas are highly desirable.
