The Senior Portfolio Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the investment management team and ensuring alignment with overall investment goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and monitor investment portfolios, including asset allocation, performance, and risk metrics.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies and recommendations to optimize portfolio performance and achieve financial objectives.
  • Conduct detailed research on investment opportunities, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and other asset classes.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports and performance summaries to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and assess the impact of market trends, economic conditions, and investment decisions on portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and other investment professionals to develop and execute investment strategies.
  • Utilize portfolio management software and analytical tools to perform risk analysis, scenario testing, and performance attribution.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with investment guidelines, regulatory requirements, and risk management policies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on portfolio adjustments and rebalancing to optimize returns and manage risk.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master's in Finance) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in portfolio analysis, investment management, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in portfolio management techniques, financial analysis, and investment research.
  • Experience with portfolio management software and financial analysis tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet).
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey investment ideas and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
  • Professional certification such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
