Rockford Corporation, a Primoris company specializing in a range of pipeline construction services, is currently searching for an Executive Assistant for our Heath, Texas location. The successful candidate will have experience managing administrative tasks, supporting the management team, and ensuring efficient operations within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Type a variety of highly confidential documents
  • Set up and maintain filing system, supervisor’s files, etc

  • Compose and/or edit letter, memos, reports, etc., as required
  • Screen phone calls/solicitors per supervisor’s instructions
  • Handle routine items, pass other on to supervisor
  • Act as liaison between supervisors, external contacts, clients, etc. Such liaison may be required to arrange meetings, clarify and resolve problems, coordinate work, maintain working relationships, etc.
  • Arrange travel, hotel, car reservations, and prepare itineraries.
  • Complete daily data entry of payroll and handle paperwork for new hire employees as directed.
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction
  • Oversee and/or process day-to-day administrative items, i.e. expense reports, supply requisitions, incoming mail, per supervisor’s authorization.

Required Qualifications

  • Must work well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work under deadlines, be reliable, and be able to work independently.
  • Ability to show courtesy and diplomacy
  • Proficiency in UKG, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
  • Basic payroll and HR knowledge is a must
  • Experience working within a union environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (7) years secretarial and administrative experience
  • High school diploma; some college is helpful
  • Knowledge of office general procedures
