Job Description:

As the Senior Director of Product Marketing at Augmentjobs, you will be a key leader in shaping the strategic direction and execution of our product marketing efforts. You will oversee a team of product marketing professionals, drive the go-to-market strategy, and collaborate closely with product management, sales, and other departments to ensure the successful launch and positioning of our products. Your role will be critical in building and maintaining a strong brand presence, driving market growth, and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies aligned with Augmentjobs' business goals and market opportunities. Identify key market trends and customer needs to drive product positioning and differentiation.

  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of product marketers. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Create and implement go-to-market plans for new product launches and existing product enhancements. Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement efforts.

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.

  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop and refine product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences. Ensure consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels.

  • Collaboration: Partner with product management, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on product features, benefits, and customer feedback. Support sales teams with training, tools, and collateral to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

  • Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Analyze data and metrics to measure campaign performance, ROI, and impact on business objectives.

  • Budget Management: Manage the product marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure cost-efficient execution of marketing programs.

  • Industry Thought Leadership: Represent Augmentjobs at industry events, conferences, and forums. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to bring innovative ideas and strategies to the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in product marketing, with a proven track record of leading successful marketing strategies and campaigns. Experience in a senior leadership role is essential.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex marketing plans. Proven ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performing teams. Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve goals.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and present ideas to various stakeholders.

  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in collaborating with product management, sales, and other departments.

  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in product marketing.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to measure campaign performance and make data-driven decisions. Experience with marketing analytics tools is a plus.

  • Budget Management: Experience in managing marketing budgets and resources effectively.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in the technology or SaaS industry.

  • Proven track record of driving product adoption and revenue growth.

  • Experience with international markets and global product launches.
