WE ARE SEEKING FOR AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK –

We’re seeking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our TERI team

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for administration assignments, invoices, payments to all vendors, and performing

various assignments and completes specialized projects to support department functions and daily operations.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES –

  • Articulate customer service/personal interaction with staff, clients, vendors, and other agency constituents.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail: ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in parallel.
  • Accurately codes such items as invoices, vouchers, expense reports, check requests, etc., correctly to ensure proper entry into the financial system.
  • Prepares batch check runs, wire transfers, and maintains internal credit card payment system.
  • Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
  • Assists with monthly status reports, and monthly closings.
  • Reconciles various accounts by identifying errors in posting or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards.
  • Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records, and reports.

QUALIFICATIONS –

  • Associate’s degree (A.A) and/or non-profit/AP Certificate.
  • At least 2 Years related experience in accounting, bookkeeping, mathematics or equivalent highly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.

SALARY RANGE –

$19.00 - $21.00/Hour
