The Manager, Partnership Development is a key position of the TMRW Sports Partnerships Team. This role will be expected to interact professionally across the internal organization while executing daily responsibilities with external clients and prospects. This position is expected to meet deadlines, execute tasks with a positive mindset, and enhance the department’s impact on generating revenue for TMRW Sports.


Responsibilities

  • Develop sponsorship proposals for prospective clients for email outreach or for in person presentation
  • Help to build decks that take our ‘inventory’ and turn them into assets and ideas
  • Perform research on companies and executives so we are informed and strategic in our initial or on-going outreach research
  • Responsible for producing sponsorship category analyses work, brand/executive briefs, target lead lists, new/emerging categories where spending is happening
  • Assist with proof of performance efforts during the season
  • Resourcefully prospect by performing extensive company and executive research for strategic engagement
  • Serve as the lead contact with internal creative team for all presentation needs and mock-ups including communication to broader team on any new tools in development
  • Responsible for the initial review and edits required to term sheets and long form agreements while working closely with legal and respective sales lead.
  • Collaborate with and function as a visible liaison with various personnel and departments within the organization (marketing, competition, broadcast production, creative, etc.) so as to ensure proper follow up and communication throughout the sales process
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions with internal stakeholders for the development of a proposal or preparation for a prospect meeting
  • Support the TMRW Sports sales leadership team throughout the sales cycle of securing new partnerships for TMRW Sports
  • Plan, create, timeline manage and help execute partnership pitch presentations, proposals, mock-ups and deal points summaries for perspective corporate partners
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4-6 years of direct sales experience, preferably in sports, multimedia, or live events
  • Experience with integrated and “conceptual” sales
  • Ability to generate and present ideas/concepts succinctly and provide creative solutions to prospects/clients
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and effectively with clients, operational leaders and other senior executives
  • Strong understanding of the partnership development process, including integrated platform development
  • Expert time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines on numerous concurrent projects.
  • Proficient in SalesForce, Excel and Powerpoint
