Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintains accurate and up to date human resource files, records and documentation.
  • Provides clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring process, etc., refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Processes documentation and prepares reports related to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations.
  • Coordinates HR projects such as meetings, trainings, surveys.
  • Monitors HR email inbox, completes employment verifications, maintains department calendar and company directory, completes expense reports.
  • Assists with provider privileging and credentialing processes, including accurate recordkeeping and tracking of expiration dates.
  • Assists with the planning and execution of new hire orientation, benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties and other activities.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource activities.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Previous related office experience required.
