Human Resource Director / Business Office Manager

Location: Panama City
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Human Resource Director / Business Office Manager to join our team. This dual-role position requires an individual who can efficiently manage HR functions while overseeing business office operations to ensure smooth and effective administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the business office, including budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective administration of office operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in human resource management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Must be able to pass Level II background screening.
  • Must pass a drug screening.
