DESCRIPTION:

As an entry level Accounting and Administration Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial and administrative functions of our custom engineered solutions division of MC Machinery Systems, Inc. You’ll collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth operations, accurate financial reporting, and efficient administrative processes. This position is designed to support the needs of a business with great growth potential. Working in the office from Monday through Friday, this person will support the inbound and outbound material used in manufacturing. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information. We train the right people for a successful career in the assembly industry and pride ourselves on customer retention.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting invoicing tasks with our main office
  • Monitor and collect accruals on custom built solutions from various suppliers
  • Various miscellaneous administrative tasks
  • Overseeing outbound and inbound shipments
  • Prepare and coordinate with the team for milestone tasks in the build process
  • Basic supply chain management for following up on open order and support logistical alternatives
  • Reviewing shipment materials before distributions
  • Collaborating with transportation systems to ensure prompt shipment pick-ups
  • Monitoring project costs and productivity processes
  • Ensuring end-to-end delivery of goods
  • Performing various functions which cut across incoming and outgoing shipment processing, product delivery, and customer support
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates degree preferred
  • A background in accounting and or logistics
  • Experience with inventory and ERP software
  • Ability to work independently and within project teams
  • Self-motivated and responsible
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Job operates mainly indoors, in an office setting, handling administrative tasks related to office management, supplies, and equipment. This position will require the supporting activities throughout the United States and Canada with some interactions with suppliers in Japan.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This job requires very frequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, standing, speaking and hearing and frequent kneeling. Repetitive use of the hands, squeezing, keyboarding and crouching. Requires frequent lifting and carrying of 1-10 pounds, recurrent lifting of 11-20 pounds and occasional lifting and carrying of 21-50 or more pounds. Also requires constant pushing and pulling of 1-50 pounds and infrequent pushing and pulling of over 50 pounds with the aid of handcarts or other wheeled devices. Good visual and color acuity are a must to perform this type of job.
