Frost Brown Todd LLP is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Louisville office.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the maintenance of W-9 files, including entry of pertinent information into Aderant Software.
  • Receiving, verifying, and auditing expense reports, running weekly reimbursement files, and initiating deposits.
  • Receiving, verifying, and auditing invoices, preparing invoices for data entry, running weekly check runs, mailing out vendor checks, and preparing manual checks as needed.
  • Assisting with maintenance of Chrome River AP system, ensuring invoices follow proper approval structure.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with an understanding of finance policies and procedures.
  • General knowledge of accounting and understanding of general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices.
  • Must be detailed-oriented, deadline-conscious, and a self-starter, with strong data entry skills.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional client service, demonstrate flexibility, adapt to changes, and be team oriented.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys, business professionals, and vendors via email, phone, or in-person.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
  • Work occasionally may require more than 40 hours per week.
