Job Summary:
We are looking for a Business Development Intern to join our team and support our growth in the oil/gas, cementing and other industrial markets. In this role, you will work closely with the local sales manager to research manufacturing companies in specific target applications and help quantify the respective opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to learn about food/pharma/nutraceutical markets.


Responsibilities:

  • Learn TIMAB’s product offerings + applications they serve
  • Conduct market research to identify future sale opportunities
  • Assist with focused sales campaigns
  • Work alongside sales on Special projects
  • Research manufacturing companies in specific target applications
  • Quantify respective opportunities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies
  • Generate leads and qualify prospects
  • May attend trade shows and industry events

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in chemistry preferred
  • Other degrees sales, marketing, or communications (with a minor in chemistry)
  • Has the personality of someone in sales
  • Energetic and outgoing
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in sales or a related field is a plus
