If so, Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center is looking for you We are currently seeking an engaging Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our center. From managing phone calls and emails to maintaining records and schedules, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and smooth administrative processes. We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Organize and schedule appointments and meetings
  • Maintain contact lists and databases
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, and memos
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Coordinate travel arrangements
  • Assist with budgeting and financial management
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning
  • Provide support to the management team and other staff as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary is a plus
