Summary The Technical Integration Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and managing system-to-system and manual-to-system data integrations within our core platforms and trading partners. The ideal candidate will lead the integration of various technical solutions, primarily focusing on Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integrations, as well as managing flat file, FTP, and API integrations. This role entails strategic planning, execution, and support of integrations, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency. The Technical Integration Manager will ensure seamless communication between our systems and those of our partners, optimizing our operations and enhancing overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integration strategies and technical requirements.
  • Manage third-party integration relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
  • Oversee the maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of integration mappings and processes.
  • Collaborate with data quality and operations teams to reduce and mitigate integration data errors.
  • Work closely with IT and Business Intelligence teams to establish effective process monitoring and reporting to meet and maintain integration and data quality SLAs.
  • Represent EDRAY in customer onboarding and third-party integration project discussions.
  • Configure EDI/API data mapping templates, arranging testing, debugging, validation, and go-live activities.
  • Lead and manage a team of Integration Analysts, providing guidance and support providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EDI/API specifications and standards.
  • Ensure all integration projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes and solutions.
  • Prepare regular reports on integration performance and project status for leaders and stakeholders.

Required Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in integration management, including EDI/FTP and web services/API integrations.
  • Working knowledge of file types: EDI X12, JSON, XML.
  • Proven experience in technical EDI development (onboarding, mapping, testing) or business analysis in API web service integration (REST and SOAP).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable in an external-facing role.
  • Great interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Helpful Additional Skills/Experience

  • Experience in the logistics/transportation industry, particularly in trucking, ocean carrier/port operations, or distribution.
  • Familiarity with EDI standards and protocols and hands-on experience with EDI translators and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP, API).
  • Proficiency in developing and/or supporting .NET applications for EDI, API, and other integration processes.
  • Ability to write SQL scripts for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Dell Boomi or similar integration platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
