SUMMARY

The Network Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Participation on projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life cycle. This individual will also assist the bank's Information Security Officer (ISO) by managing the vendor management program for the bank.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide technical support to all employees in the organization.
  • Supports internal users with technical and application issues.
  • Provides primary support on the primary Active Directory administration.
  • Manager of the Active Directory Connect service and O365 administration.
  • Assist ISO with managing virus and malware protection.
  • Manages user remote access.
  • Manages Microsoft EMS and Azure system.
  • Aids in firewall reconfiguration
  • Manage patch management/inventory control system.
  • Manages reporting for all facets of the technology in the institution.
  • Provide rack management in the datacenter.
  • Report directly to the IT Officer
  • Assist with the management of the bank's vendor management program by reviewing new and existing vendors.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal staff on vendor management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor vendor performance, conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Assist with implementing risk mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including risk management, legal, compliance, and business units, to assess and mitigate vendor-related risks.
  • Manage vendor contract tickers systems, ensuring system is updated for terminations or renewals.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, regulatory developments, and emerging risks related to vendor management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Two (2) years of specialized training/work experience
  • Microsoft Certified Professional experience preferred.
  • Aptitude for providing excellent customer service.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Telephone etiquette
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong Technical aptitude
  • Natural drive to learn more about technology and why software behaves the way it does.
  • Experience troubleshooting or handling difficult situations with users is a must.
  • VoIP Phone Systems experience preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Requires extensive contact with the general public.
  • May require travel to other offices to provide assistance or attend meetings. Also, travel for seminars and training
