The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund), a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, seeks an Administrative Assistant to perform a full range of administrative and program support activities to facilitate efficient operations of the Workplace Initiatives Program. This is currently a hybrid position with a requirement of 2 days per week in our Times Square office.

RESPONSIBILITES

The Administrative Assistant for the Workplace Initiatives Program supports the social services team in the organization and updating of new and existing service agreements with unions and employers in the entertainment industry. Some of the tasks involved in this position are assisting the team with set up and implementation of workshops and groups online and in person, liaison with communications team to ensure up to date information to contracts, and maintain all records, documentation, and outreach information in an organized and efficient manner. Ordering of supplies, processing invoices, and developing outreach schedules are also a part of this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree, equivalent or higher
  • Demonstrable proficiency in MS Office suite, Excel, Zoom
  • Attention to detail, precision, and efficiency in maintaining files and information
  • Ability to handle and maintain sensitive, confidential documents
  • Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines
  • Two to three years of experience in office administrative or program support, including familiarity with various databases
  • Experience with video conferencing software (Zoom and Teams)
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent numerical and data entry/analytical skills, attention to detail and follow-through
  • Goal-oriented, proactive in solving problems and prioritizing a variety of projects


ABOUT THIS POSITION
