Project Management Coordinator

Summary: This role will work with our project management team to support on-going project execution. The Project Management Coordinator will serve as a backup to the Project Management Team and participate directly in Project Management initiatives in the absence of the Project Manager. This role is responsible for following the Business Solutions Groups project framework and lifecycle when executing any initiative. The Project Management Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordinating execution and delivery of successful projects aligned with corporate strategy delivering them on time, on budget and within scope. Assist in creating schedules, adjusting timelines, communicating changes and overseeing quality control throughout the entire project. Contribute in the identification and assessment of project risks and their mitigations until successful project completion. A strong sense of ownership and accountability to projects assigned and desire to understand our customer is critical to this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned
- Perform duties as directed by supervisor.
- Work closely with Project Management to assist in facilitation of project planning, prioritization, execution, delivery and collaboration to bring projects to closure.
- Facilitate and capture meeting minutes as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with project team to track and follow-up on any action items, risk or issues.
- Attend and actively participate in project meetings as assigned
- Monitor project management artifacts for tasks in project plans on a regular basis for Project Managers including project closure to ensure all items are complete and have the appropriate documentation.
- Assist Project Managers in scheduling project meetings as assigned.
- Coordinate with project partners and vendors under the direction of project managers.
- Create reports, dashboards and other essential project materials as assigned.
- Archive projects on an annual basis.
- Completes all yearly compliance training and testing and complies with bank, federal, and state regulations. Adheres to departmental and bank-wide service standards.
- Project oversight of non-complex, small Projects in alignment with project management framework.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Visio, SharePoint, Teams and Project Management Software a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management kills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, working efficiently and effectively under deadlines
- Energetic and has the ability to encourage and lead a team
- Maintain a positive attitude through stressful situations
- Highly flexible in daily duties
- Creative and analytical mind with a willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree from a College or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:
