The COBRA Support Representative will be responsible for processing enrollments from plan participants. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with health care and/or health insurance and a can-do attitude, with an affinity to provide top notch service to our members, clients, and partners. The successful Representative is a self-motivated, quick-learning multitasker with superior written and verbal communication skills, who works well individually and as an integral part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The position requires a high level of accuracy and the desire to work cooperatively with others to ensure superior service to our participants.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist external and internal customers with COBRA and Direct Bill related inquiries
  • Processing Enrollments, Elections, COBRA/Direct Bill premium payments
  • Request and process COBRA/Direct Bill renewal rates
  • Assist in Client’s Open Enrollment
  • Assist in New Group Implementation
  • Communicating with outside vendors
  • Auditing Records
  • Review and process COBRA appeals for reinstatement
  • Providing excellent client services
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge or familiarity with medical terminology helpful
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to multi-task, be detailed oriented, and collaborate with multiple sources.
  • Knowledge of MS Office products and proven ability to adapt to new software systems.
