Recreation/Activity Coordinator
Join our team as an Activity Coordinator and play a key role in enriching the lives of our residents through engaging activities and compassionate care. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, promote, and implement activities that cater to the interests and needs of our residents.
- Assist residents during meals and provide light housekeeping support as needed.
- Facilitate both one-on-one interactions and group activities to foster community and enjoyment.
- Transport residents using Taylor Community's 15-passenger bus and other vehicles for off-campus activities (training provided).
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience in activities coordination preferred.
- Familiarity with dementia care principles preferred; willingness to learn more.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Age between 25 and 75 years old.
- Energetic personality with a passion for enhancing residents' quality of life through engaging programming.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid and clean driver's license required.
