What You’ll Do:
As the Rental Sales Manager for the West Region, you will be expected to lead business development efforts to acquire new customers for Aerzen Rental Solutions with specific focus on industrial / municipal markets and channel partners. Our vision: To be the rental partner of choice in all of the markets we serve. By helping to acquire new customers, you help fulfill our mission statement: We work relentlessly to deliver the best rental experience our customers have ever had.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as main point of contact for all inquiries and sales opportunities and work with inside sales team to provide timely and accurate information and quotations to perspective and established customers.
- Consistently identify target markets and/or applications that will turn into short-/ long-term Aerzen Rental opportunities.
- Effectively manage the relationship with key customer accounts, understand the landscape within each key account, the decisions makers and how decisions are made.
- Promote and develop relationships in the rental industry to position Aerzen Rental as best choice and respected supplier in the markets we serve within the rental industry.
- Engage customers with prompt problem resolution; this will consist of being on-call and available regularly.
Who We Are:
Aerzen Rental rents high-quality oil-free blowers and screw compressors supplied by the German manufacturer Aerzen, which was established in 1864 and produced its first blowers in 1868. Aerzen Rental is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aerzener Maschinenfabrik GmbH and takes full advantage of the extensive network of Aerzen companies in Europe.

Requirements:A. Education: Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or technical school) Preferred. Field of Study: Business or Engineering preferred, relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
B. Experience: 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in sales of industrial equipment, technical solutions, or engineered rental solutions within a manufacturing, engineering, or related industry. Direct experience with rotary screw compressors and positive displacement blowers is a plus. Experience within wastewater industry, cement, or pneumatic conveying applications is a plus.
D. Functional Skills: Excellent planning, prioritization, organization, and execution skills; high attention to details
and ability to analyze large amounts of data; analytical and logical thinker who can problem-solve and
implement solutions, excellent with time management.
E. Technology Aptitude/Skills: Advanced ERP system, processes, and validation skills required; Expert in Excel, with advanced knowledge of the other Microsoft Office products. Will learn and utilize other software systems in the role.
F. Language Skills: Advanced verbal and written communication skills; able to present to groups and
educate/train others.
G. Leadership/Behaviors: Strong customer-focus, excellent leadership and change-management skills, with the
ability to listen, motivate, and influence others to action; high integrity and compliance mindset.
H. Culture Match Behaviors: Entrepreneurial spirit, who is collaborative, trusting of
