Key Responsibilities:

As the Service Manager for the Northeast Region, you will lead the aftermarket team in areas such as field service, repair operations, parts procurement, and customer relations. You will work closely with the team to enhance support for Aerzen's existing installations and to cultivate new customer relationships. Collaborating with the Director of Sales & Service, you will establish strategies to drive growth and enhance customer engagement.

Service Management Duties:

  • Lead and oversee the activities of Field Service and Repair Technicians.
  • Provide direct supervision and technical guidance to service personnel performing on-site services, including installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
  • Foster team development through coaching and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare service technicians for customer engagements by ensuring they are equipped with necessary information regarding equipment and customer needs.
  • Coordinate with other Regional Service Managers to optimize resource utilization across the U.S.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Maintain a skilled and knowledgeable workforce by ensuring ongoing training and development.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, employment, and environmental regulations.
  • Review and approve reports and requests from team members, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Be available for emergency calls on a rotating schedule.

Technical Support Responsibilities:

  • Address technical inquiries related to parts, equipment, and services, providing troubleshooting and recommendations to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain a strong technical background to effectively support Aerzen's product line.
  • Deliver training and technical support to service and repair technicians to ensure accurate information dissemination.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service and quality in all interactions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of service quotes, orders, and related items.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business-related field, preferably in Electrical or Controls Engineering.

Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Navision / Business Central) and familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce.

Technical Skills:

  • Intermediate proficiency in software applications such as Nitro PDF, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with other software tools including ADP, Concur, and Intelex.
