Position Objective:

We are looking for an Account Executive whose primary focus will be on leading the RFP/Bid Sheet process, servicing existing business operationally and financially, and maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing new business where possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish positive and long-term client relationships by conducting regular meetings with clients.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Prepare and lead business review discussions with clients.
  • Develop and present sales presentations to clients to demonstrate the company's experience and qualifications.
  • Represent the company at site visits and walkthroughs for contract and specialty jobs, as needed.
  • Heavy emphasis on working with Management, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to lead an organized and competitive response to RFP's from beginning to end, including RFP presentations to our prospective clients' stated requirements.
  • Close new business opportunities with existing client base.
  • Collaborate in the development of strategic sales plan initiatives to achieve headroom growth.
  • Support the achievement of the branch annual sales and profit objectives.
  • Become knowledgeable of current clients in order to renegotiate expiring contracts.
  • Obtain new business through cultivating existing relationships in order to achieve branch sales goals and budgets.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, account plans and regional management activities including the documentation of all information into our CRM.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors, industry trends and company services.
  • Attend conferences and trade shows as required.
  • Manages Sales Specialist position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years industry OR sales/account management experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience generating RFP's/Bid Sheets.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Proven and documented track record of retaining and expanding existing business.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a history of competitive wins.
  • Exceptional client focus skills and superior presentation skills.
  • Ability to present and influence customer and internal management.
  • Excellent leadership skills that foster teamwork and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
