Job Description

Ent is a purpose driven organization that strives to make a positive impact in the communities where we live, work, and play. Our Community Programs Coordinator will play a key role in building partnerships to better serve the financially vulnerable. The individual in this role has proven skills in building relationships and will travel across Colorado to do so. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping with all aspects of fund distribution, grants, program and event management. This coordinator will work closely with the Director of Community Advocacy and other team members to help implement funding and fundraising strategies, work on grant proposals and funding reports. This is a full-time position requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on work to ensure the success of our organization. The coordinator will also work with other key partners including high schools and higher education institutions.

Essential Functions

  • Help with identifying new funding opportunities and maintaining relationships with nonprofit partners, grant-making organizations, and other partners. Represent Ent in the communities we serve at nonprofit events. Assist with fundraising plans with Ent team members and our owner-members, and special events. Work with Director of Community Advocacy to ensure compliance with grant requirements, including tracking and reporting on grant-funded activities, and working with strategic event staff to develop effective project plans. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that philanthropy efforts align with programmatic goals and support the organization's overall mission (e. g. Community Education, Events/Sponsorships, Marketing, Business Development, Internal Comms)
  • Collaborate with outside partners including the Denver Broncos Foundation, High Schools, and higher education institutions on current projects and brand alignment. Coordinate internally with financial education team to ensure financial literacy component is being implemented in philanthropic partnerships. Coordinate externally with High Schools on High School Debit Card Affinity Program. Manage and track participation at each school. Coordinate on-site events and opportunities to promote the program. Work with Director of Community Advocacy to identify and apply for grant opportunities to serve the underserved.
  • Ad hoc Projects.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
Qualifications

Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position

  • Associate's Degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years experience in administration, grant management, or related field
  • 2+ years' of relevant experience working with nonprofits and/or managing the grant-making process. Preferred

Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is: $22.02 to $28.90 per Hour (S13)

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.

This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
