The Coordinator will work closely with educational institutions, educators, and community partners to ensure effective support for refugee students. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of LFSRM educational and summer initiatives
  • Engage with students in both classroom and after-school environments
  • Foster collaborative relationships with school leaders and educators
  • Encourage parental participation in educational activities and volunteer roles
  • Provide guidance on career pathways, including college readiness
  • Monitor program outcomes and prepare necessary documentation
  • Ensure that program offerings adhere to established quality benchmarks
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as required
Required Qualifications
  • Experience and sensitivity in working with diverse cultural groups
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages is advantageous
  • Understanding of refugee integration processes and U.S. immigration regulations
  • Familiarity with local social service agencies and community resources
  • Strong skills in public speaking and instructional delivery
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Competence in data management and reporting
  • Proficient in problem-solving and conflict management
  • Collaborative team member with excellent organizational abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and auto insurance is necessary
  • Commitment to the mission of Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains
Education and Experience

A minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.

Supervisory Duties

Responsible for overseeing a team of up to five contractors, interns, and volunteers.
