As our Communications & Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be the mastermind behind our captivating content, working across multiple platforms to engage, inform, and inspire. What You’ll Do
  • Ideate, research, write, edit, and distribute engaging blog posts, email newsletters, other digital, video, and print assets, ensuring a consistent message aligned to our brand voice and CHPs goals.
  • Work together with internal teams and external partners to generate ideas and create engaging content that supports our mission.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Manager to shape content strategies and initiatives.
  • Be a strategic thought partner in building and managing a multi-platform editorial calendar.
  • Craft captivating copy for various social platforms, partnering with our designer for engaging visuals, optimizing SEO, and scheduling, posting, and monitoring comments on our social accounts.
  • Keep it real and fresh by bringing innovative ideas to the table that support our goals and mission.
  • Diversify our competitive edge by tracking performance and engagement metrics to refine and improve our strategies.
  • Be a team player by pitching in to design masterful presentations, generate compelling reports, and crush other project and data administrative needs.
Capabilities & Areas of Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
  • 2-3 years in communications, copywriting, content creation, and marketing (non-profit experience preferred).
  • Familiar with social media best practices and scheduling tools, CMS like WordPress, email marketing platforms, and project management tools like Asana.
  • Basic videography, photography, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud are bonus points
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Salary range for this full-time position is $26.00 – $31.00/hour depending on experience.
