Fleet Administrative Assistant

The Fleet Administrative Assistant will provide support for the office as related to ongoing compliance or administrative tasks in both new and existing jobs.
The Role:
Vehicle Fleet compliance and inventory tasks
- Coordinate vehicle plates, registrations and stickers for fleet vehicles
- Receive and file drivers’ alert updates
- Maintain DOT driver files and driver educations logs
- Provide complete administrative support services for the fleet department
- Enter vehicle & equipment moves as well as new purchases
- Manage titles and documentation of equipment and vehicles acquired by sewer equipment
- Vehicle Logs – Maintain and audit logs for all vehicles
- FMCSA Compliance – Ensure compliance with this and related DOT requirements, using the portal to as needed
- Review Repair Tickets each day, responding, addressing or closing as needed
- Transcom Files – Respond to and keep current on any open issues related to Transcom
- PM Tickets – Creates and follows up on Preventative Maintenance tickets according to prescribed schedule
- Tickets and Violations – respond appropriately to any issued tickets to ensure communication and payment
- Safety Compliance – Serve as in-house safety compliance officer, meeting periodically with teams to review incidents and complying with OSHA and other regulatory safety regulations
- 3+ years Experience in the construction industry
- Basic MS office experience
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Organizational and follow up skills for open items
