Core Responsibilities

  • Lead development of proposals, statements of qualifications, and presentations in alignment with brand guidelines and organizational processes.
  • Proactively conduct market research to stay informed and produce thought leadership content related to industry trends, best practices, and competitor strategies in conjunction with proposal and/or statements of qualifications development.
  • Effectively lead collaborative, cross-functional teams in developing communications strategy and creating visually appealing, professional deliverables aligned with client expectations and internal brand guidelines.
  • Implement consistent, thorough reviews and quality assurance checks on proposals to ensure accuracy, compliance with requirements, and alignment with company standards and best practices.
  • Support client engagement activities related to proposals, including presentations, meetings, and follow-up communications as requested.
  • Proactively manage multiple, complex proposal timelines and deadlines, ensuring submissions are accurate, complete, on time and in accordance with client specifications.
  • Maintain proposal content libraries and databases to facilitate efficient retrieval and customization of content for proposals.
  • Proactively and continuously evaluate and improve proposal development processes, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency across proposals.
  • Support client acquisition and retention efforts and consistently and accurately update records of firms, contacts, proposals, tasks, and outcomes in Marketing Workflows and/or CRM database.
  • Ensure proposals and other content meet all legal and compliance requirements, including adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Mentor, train and guide junior team members and support their professional growth and development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • This position is non-billable. Non-billable activities include company & team meetings, professional development, community involvement, innovation time, culture & engagement activities, learning, and training.

 

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Marketing, AEC or related B2B industry experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Adobe.
  • Advanced understanding of design, desktop publishing, and presentation software: Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Works effectively independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, able to effectively manage multiple, simultaneous tasks, and deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and automobile insurance for potential travel needs.

Physical Requirements

  • Required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • The position may require a visit to project sites occasionally.
  • The position requires a normal range of hearing.
  • The employee must be able to lift 20 lbs. occasionally.
  • Requires prolonged sitting with 15% of the time spent bending and reaching.
  • Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Noise levels are consistent with a standard office environment.
