We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Resident Engagement Coordinator to join our vibrant community. This role is essential in supporting the Lifestyle Director in crafting, initiating, and managing a diverse array of enriching activities tailored for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster connections with residents through both individual and group activities.
  • Lead and assist in various social, educational, and recreational programs, including exercise sessions and outings.
  • Organize and facilitate games, discussions, creative arts, music events, and special gatherings.
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly community newsletter.
  • Encourage resident involvement in activities and document their engagement and outcomes.
  • Support the Lifestyle Director in various tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiastic team player with a passion for working with seniors.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Preferred experience of 6-12 months in a similar role, particularly with seniors.
  • Experience in memory care settings is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to scheduled plans.
  • Composure in challenging situations, treating residents with dignity and respect.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
