Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator to join our team. As an IT Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects from initiation to completion. You will collaborate closely with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Scheduling:

    • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and timelines based on project requirements and objectives.
    • Coordinate and schedule project activities, meetings, and resources to ensure alignment with project goals and deadlines.
  2. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, project plans, and status reports.
    • Prepare and distribute regular project status updates, progress reports, and dashboards to stakeholders and management.
  3. Resource and Vendor Management:

    • Coordinate resources, both internal team members and external vendors, to ensure availability and allocation according to project needs.
    • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement processes related to IT project deliverables and services.
  4. Risk and Issue Management:

    • Identify, assess, and track project risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Work with project teams to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential risks and issues.
  5. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, team members, and external partners.
    • Organize and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather requirements, discuss progress, and resolve issues.
  6. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

    • Support quality assurance activities to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
    • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, processes, and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or similar role in IT project management.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
  • Experience in coordinating and supporting IT projects from initiation to closure.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
