You should be familiar with project or program objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the Program Delivery Team. You will spend considerable time communicating with the customer and other stakeholders (vendors, cross-functional teams, subcontractors) involved in the delivery of assigned projects or programs to ensure customer satisfaction. A successful Project Coordinator will anticipate opportunities and issues proactively as well as perform other administrative duties. Finally, you should enjoy working with a diverse team of dedicated and passionate professionals.

Summary:

The Project Coordinator role is responsible for supporting the Program Delivery Team and the program management services the group provides. The Project Coordinator will work with the business unit leadership to plan events, meetings, develop reports, and perform other tasks as assigned. The primary responsibility is to keep their assigned projects and all related processes running smoothly and accurately. A Project Coordinator typically reports to the Program Manager but will be assigned tasks by a wider group.

*Duties and Responsibilities: *

  • Provide outstanding customer service to district and schools. Be responsive and timely in responding to questions, concerns and requests.

  • Serve as a point-of-contact to internal resources and internal departments for day-to-day activities as assigned including events management and educator recruitment.

  • Serve as a point-of-contact for customer activities as assigned, including committee participant roster generation.

  • Provide support for customer meeting planning.

  • Work with Project Managers to create agendas and minutes for internal and external meetings.

  • Develop an understanding of Pearson School Assessment’s business concepts, practices and organizational structure.

  • Document, write, update, and maintain procedures, specifications, and client facing ancillary materials.

  • Develop and maintain status reports on a scheduled basis.

  • Create and manage folder directories, manage and provide access to internal employees.

  • Manage customer share sites and internal and external user accounts.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve non-technical issues, using support documentation and training.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree desired or commensurate experience.

  • Ability to analyze details, follow directions, and collaborate with others to effectively assist in finding successful solutions.

  • Ability to pay close attention to details and follow necessary procedures.

  • Ability to use time-management and organizational skills and effectively manage multiple, possibly changing, priorities.

  • Ability to monitor and quality check project work as needed.

  • Understand team dynamics and foster a positive team environment.

  • High sense of urgency and attention to detail required.

  • Effective verbal/written communication skills, strong listening skills and effectively escalate issue/communication.

  • Significant experience in providing outstanding customer service.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, required and Smartsheet desired.

  • Demonstrate self-motivated learning, ability to seek out trustworthy resources independently.

  • Demonstrate ability to learn new software and technology tools through both formal training and self-instruction.

  • Ability to handle confidential information and materials in an appropriate manner.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve non-technical issues, using support documentation and training.
