Position Summary

Concordia University is seeking qualified applicants for a Graduate Assistant position within their Academic Resource Center. This part-time position will be located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and be confirmed enrollees in a Concordia University graduate education program in good academic standing.

This position will provide support for all ARC programs that can include, assisting in scheduling exams, tutors and peer academic mentoring. This position can be a one-year or two-year position, depending on the graduate degree program they select from Concordia University.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with general oversight of the ARC student resources
  • Assist with proctoring alternative testing
  • Assist with recruiting student workers
  • Assist with creating engaging content for ARC social media accounts
  • May participate in ARC orientation for new students, marketing, and other student engagement activities
  • Research and draft grants to support and aid Student Success
  • Complete purchase orders and requisitions for Student Success
  • Conduct research regarding best practices in Student Success
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
