Operations Manager

BrandStar Studios is seeking candidates for the role of Operations Manager to develop, manage, and oversee the workflows and financial processes of the company, ensuring studio and production services deliver on time and to client satisfaction. This is a strategic role with tactical responsibilities and a significant influence on the company's continued success and growth. The Operations Manager must be able to manage processes, communications, team members, and relationships with internal and external vendors. Must be able to identify areas for improvement and facilitate proper workflow and compliance with Accounting, HR and IT policies and procedures. As a key member of our team, the Operations Manager will drive strategic initiatives, implement best practices, and foster a culture of operational excellence to support the growth and success of our organization.
Specific responsibilities of the Operations Manager include:
- Develop, implement, execute on actionable business plans and operating policies consistent with BrandStar Executive policies, as well as short,- and long-term company objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, projects, business developments, and employee productivity while promoting corporate culture.
- Identify, develop and execute on operational processes that relate to ensuring BrandStar Studios and Productions has the proper operational infrastructure to schedule, track, manage and scale resources to meet and exceed the quality of work expected and the profit margin requirements.
- Lead the monthly P&L for the division with the support of the team.
- Drive the annual business planning and budget with the support of the team leads.
- Provide effective and inspiring leadership for all operational programs and services.
- Work with key participants to complete film credits.
- Internal Reporting - Key role in the accumulation of data and the formation of divisional forecasts including quarterly, annual, and detailed three-year forecasts.
- Strategic Analysis - Strategic analysis on issues affecting the business environment for the specific business division as well as intercompany impact to the overall organization.
- Business Strategy - Short and long-term strategic plans, teaming with Divisional Leaders to develop/present cohesive strategies.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration required.
- Minimum of 10 years management, leadership, and operational strategy experience.
- In-depth understanding of the television production industry including risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and data analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A high degree of professionalism in dealing with varied groups of people, including all levels of employees and management, clients, and vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and available time.
- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround, and to switch gears at a moment's notice.
- Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment.
- Possess a positive, team-player, "Whatever It Takes" attitude.
- A high level of proficiency with MS Office Suite - Intermediate to advanced level user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
