About the Opportunity:
We're looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual to work in an energetic environment to hire and manage a motivated team of SDRs as the leader of our sales development function. You'll work alongside builders who have helped to shape the success of companies such as Google, Okta, AWS, VMware and more.
You Will:
- Hire, manage and coach a world-class team of Sales Development Reps (SDRs), with responsibility for both inbound and outbound
- Create tools and enablement programs to maximize SDR productivity
- Track and report SDR performance to stakeholders and Veza leadership
- Qualify inbound demand and develop outbound campaigns in concert with Marketing
- Coach behaviors and develop skills to drive high performance and hit top-of-funnel targets
- Refine the hiring profile and run a rapid recruiting process in concert with HR
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to develop financial plans, capacity models, compensation plans, and SPIFFs
You Have
Education:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in B2B tech sales development
- Experience hiring and managing teams of 5 or more
- High level of attention to detail, aptitude for planning/executing deadlines
- Strong written communication and presentation skills
- Highly-proactive, self-starter capable of effectively managing and prioritizing parallel projects
- Nice to have:
- Experience with security or identity markets
- Professional experience in a high-growth start-up
- MBA degree

For this position, the reasonably expected pay range can be discussed with your recruiter for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package.
