You are a professional; highly organized, autonomous, and motivated. You have exemplary communication skills and thrive in a deadline-driven environment. You are a collaborator. You are personable. You are able to manage multiple projects and are committed to excellence.

New challenges are interesting to you and you are continually looking for ways to help the team get better at what we do. You roll up your sleeves and pitch in to support wherever needed. This is a position for a positive, thorough individual, willing to take full ownership of their workload with an ability to interact with all levels of employees, clients, and vendors.

You'll be interfacing with the Owner, Project and Account Management team, Studio Management team, and Finance Team. Information you glean will be used to keep you in tune with the bigger financial picture and allow you to prepare and submit customer invoices. For this aspect of the role, we’re looking for a go getter, someone comfortable tracking down information and following through.

Other responsibilities include researching and evaluating whether or not to invoice the customer for sales tax. Reviewing AR past due open invoices and communicating with customers regarding collection of the past due amount(s). Participating in the sales forecasting process and bank reporting requirements. Maintaining spreadsheets as they relate to financial analysis and daily cash management.

Month-end includes things like filing multi-state and Canadian sales tax returns. Reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing and recording journal entries, and reconciling bank accounts. Assisting in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities; it is meant to frame this new role, that is evolving. We operate as a full function team where we help out wherever, as needed, and for this position that includes additional areas such as 401k Management, AP, Payroll, and Attendance/PTO.
