Accounting Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of entry level journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
  • Processing of cash deposits, unclaimed property and stop payments. This role is focused on treasury/cash related transactions.
  • Completion of a variety of supporting tasks like compiling data, pulling/preparing reports from different systems, and other ad hoc projects.
  • Fluctuation analysis of period-to-period changes in account balances.
  • Other duties as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 1-2 years of accounting experience or accounting courses (preferred experience to include responsibility supporting an accounting department and financial statements).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products particularly Excel, ERP systems and 10-key competency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and changing priorities.
