Your Career

The Worldwide Shared Services team was formed to build a scalable growth model for Palo Alto Networks. Our goal is to enable, elevate, and accelerate our internal and external sales community, establishing Palo Alto Networks as the cybersecurity partner of choice. By centralizing resources globally, we drive efficiency and scale, improving selling efficacy, productivity, customer experience, and revenue acceleration. This team offers you the opportunity to chart your course and influence the selling motions at Palo Alto Networks.

Your Impact

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager (PMP) who will play a critical role in our overall strategy and success. In this role, you will:

  • Lead High-Impact Programs - Oversee the planning, implementation, and execution of programs aligned with our strategic objectives, working closely with senior leaders
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Coordinate with program sponsors, cross-functional teams, and program managers to develop scopes, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines for new initiatives
  • Technical Guidance - Guide technical audiences, particularly in systems engineering, on program outcomes related to go-to-market (GTM) selling motions
  • Risk Management - Identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects, analyze, evaluate, and mitigate risks, and produce comprehensive program reports for leadership and stakeholders
  • Operational Efficiency - Enhance operational efficiency by automating and improving processes to increase the effectiveness of our selling communities
  • Coaching and Mentorship - Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, fostering their growth within the organization
Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Certification and Experience - PMP certification with over 10 years of experience in program management or program management operations, including at least 3 years in a senior role
  • Program Management Expertise - Demonstrated ability to manage complex, large-scale initiatives and influence outcomes through relationships
  • Technical Proficiency - High-level understanding of technical product capabilities and their impact on projects
  • Problem Solving - Consistent and organized approach, with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and develop mitigation strategies for potential risks
  • Effective Communication - Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of articulating, presenting, and debating recommendations with both executive and technical audiences, effectively partnering with all levels of management
  • Matrixed Environment - Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment, managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Industry Knowledge - Experience in the cybersecurity industry is a plus
  • Tool Proficiency - Proficiency in Asana preferred
  • Motivation and Innovation - Self-motivated and forward-thinking, with excellent organizational and time management skills

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $162,200/yr to $262,450/yr.
