As a Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the sales team and ensure the dealership meets its sales goals. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Sales Team: You will lead the sales team and be responsible for motivating and managing them to ensure they meet their sales targets. You will also ensure they provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Planning and Strategy: You will be responsible for creating sales strategies, setting sales targets, and developing action plans to meet these targets. You will analyze sales data, identify trends, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Customer Service: You will be responsible for ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience at the dealership. You will work with the sales team to ensure that customer needs are met and that they receive excellent service.
  • Inventory Management: You will work with the dealership's inventory team to ensure that the dealership has the right inventory to meet customer needs. You will monitor inventory levels and ensure that the sales team is aware of the available stock.
  • Sales Reporting: You will be responsible for providing regular sales reports to the dealership's management team. These reports will include information on sales performance, customer satisfaction, and inventory levels.
  • Marketing and Advertising: You will work with the dealership's marketing team to develop advertising campaigns and promotional events to drive sales.
  • Compliance: You will ensure that the sales team complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. This includes ensuring that the sales team adheres to all dealership policies and procedures, as well as all federal and state laws governing automotive sales.
  • The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of success in automotive sales management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a team. They should also have a deep understanding of automotive sales, marketing, and customer service, as well as strong analytical skills to develop sales strategies and analyze sales data.
  • Management of Vinsolutions for customer follow up
  • Full Utilization of VAuto and associated systems
  • Maintain and improve profitability of sales department
  • Ability to effectively desk and close both new and used car deals
  • Excellent follow up of all showroom and inbound internet traffic
  • Foster a culture of repeat and referral customers
  • Used Vehicle experience a definite plus
