Job Description of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk:

  • Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment

  • Records shipment data, including weight, charges, space availability, etc.

  • Receives and unpacks materials and supplies

  • Reports damages and discrepancies and completes shipping and receiving reports

  • Will work in a fast-paced manufacturing operation, so must be safety conscious and team oriented.

Requirements of Shipping and Receiving Clerk position:

  • Requires attention to detail

  • Experience using computer systems to enter data

  • Manual dexterity

  • Three-years prior experience in shipping and receiving

  • High School Diploma/GED required

Additional details of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position:

Warehouse organization/management, shipping/receiving duties, back of house point-of-contact for contractors and vendors, fork truck operation
