Role Overview:

The EVR clerk is responsible for supporting the sales department and ensuring the full process is met for all registration of vehicles in a timely manner. EVR clerks assist the sales department with any dealership swaps and off-street purchases as they will need to ensure accuracy of paperwork and completion of processing. EVR clerk will also be responsible for all administrative tasks in the registration office. This role requires attention to detail, positive and professional communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • EVR personnel must ensure that all deposits are ready by 9:30am each day and provide completed bags to daily Runner.
  • Must be able to bust, scan and ship deal paperwork as needed and organize as per PMG standards.
  • Register all sold vehicles in a timely manner.
  • Post daily batch of registration transactions.
  • Assist F&I with any additional information required by lenders to fund the deals.
  • Process rebates and sales incentives with factories.
  • Issue purchase orders for the sales department.
  • Work with inventory control to process dealer swaps and office street purchases.
  • Organize wholesale titles to be shipped to corporate weekly.
  • Assist inventory control with following up on titles and transit log results daily.
  • Assist with cashier coverage as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with GM, GSM and CAO team.
  • Have excellent time management skills.
  • Provide excellent internal and external relationship skills
  • Ensure that department metrics and goals are met.
  • Team-oriented with a desire to achieve both individual and collective goals.
  • All other duties assigned by the Controller.

Experience Requirements:

  • No experience is required willing to train new candidates.
  • 2 years of general automotive accounting and EVR experience is a plus.
  • Computer and communication skills must be at an intermediate level.
  • Employees must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Employee must be able to read, write, understand and speak English.

Physical Demands:

Employee must be able to sit for long periods of time. Use their hands to handle control or feel objects, tools, or controls. Repeat the same movements for 7 hours a day at minimum. Must be able to get in and out of vehicles and travel. Occasionally need to lift boxes up to 30 lbs. Occasional bending, walking, and mobility will be necessary.
