Residential Program Manager

The Residential Manager II is responsible for providing and ensuring continuous, meaningful active treatment is taking place at all times in the residential homes. The Residential Manager II acts as a positive role model for staff and residents as well as, promoting positive teamwork, training and coaching for staff and residents. Provides routine and emergency communications between residents, direct care staff, relevant clinicians, other service providers, and administrative department to ensure safe, effective and comprehensive services within the program. Ensures residential staff coverage for all shifts. Provides communication between direct care staff and the program coordinator so that agency standards are being met to ensure all resident needs are maintained. At direction of supervisor will develop staff schedules to meet program coverage needs. Maintains residence food and materials inventories, participates in purchasing items needed for the program. Assists the Program Coordinator in safeguarding agency and resident funds within the guidelines set by the agency’s policy and procedures. The Residential Manager II is responsible for a program identified with an increased caseload and/or acuity resulting from medical or behavioral challenges.


Hourly: $23.77-$25.77 per hour


Schedule:

  • Tuesday through Saturday, 10am - 6pm with flexibility providing oversight for Inwood and Waryas IRA's


Schedules requires flexibility and the ability to provide on-call assistance.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years supervisory experience and three years of working with the developmentally disabled population required. A combination of education and experience may be deemed acceptable by the Residential Director.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
  • Must have and maintain a valid NYS driver's license deemed "acceptable" by our insurance carrier.
  • Current SCIP-R, CPR, AMAP, First Aid certifications a plus; ability to achieve these certifications required.
  • Computer skills required including ability to utilize billing software, on-line training programs, as well as Microsoft applications.
