Sante Health System is looking to fill a key role as a Special Projects Coordinator with Community Medical Providers (CMP) in the Fresno, CA area. This position leads in coordinating various activities of patient care, operational issues, and regulatory requirements for CMP physician office locations and interfacing with various departments within Santé, under the direction of the Practice Manager

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of five years experience in medical office or business office management with emphasis on increasing responsibility, strategic planning ability and technical expertise as relates to medical office operations.

Candidates should have exceptional people and communication skills, be highly skilled in multi-tasking in a fast paced environment, a commitment to achieving a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and a no-task-too-small approach to the work.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of healthcare administration, fiscal management and government regulations and reimbursements.
  • Knowledge of basic business office policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, programs and applications.
  • Skill in exercising initiative, judgment and discretion.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Skill in organizing work, delegating and achieving goals and objectives.
  • Ability to plan, organize and integrate priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to evaluate and make recommendations for continuous quality improvement.
  • Ability to research, analyze and interpret data and present comprehensive reports.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Assist in resolving operational issues across CMP.
  2. Interface with the billing department to help resolve operational issues.
  3. Interface with the IT department to help resolve IT operational issues and to enhance workflow processes in the various sites.
  4. Coordinate ongoing Medicare audits.
  5. Assist in developing an implementation plan for ICD-10.
  6. Assist in developing the PCMH in each CMP site.
  7. Promote patient, staff, and provider satisfaction.
  8. Solicit ideas/contributions from others, promoting and fostering teamwork to optimize the delivery of care.
  9. Act in a manner which is consistent and fair, accepting responsibility for all actions, ensuring you are a role model and mentor for others within CMP.
  10. Assist with ensuring that regulatory standards/requirements are met in accordance with the needs of the organization.
  11. Attend meetings as required.
  12. Maintain confidentiality.
