Job Overview

Sante Health System is seeking a dedicated Special Projects Coordinator to play a pivotal role with Community Medical Providers (CMP). This position is essential in managing various aspects of patient care, operational challenges, and compliance requirements across CMP physician office locations while collaborating with multiple departments within Santé, under the guidance of the Practice Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of five years of experience in medical office or business office management, demonstrating increasing responsibility, strategic planning capabilities, and technical proficiency in medical office operations.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, excel in multitasking within a dynamic environment, and maintain a strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
  • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare administration principles, fiscal management, and relevant government regulations.
  • Familiarity with standard business office policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in various computer systems, programs, and applications.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, and discretion.
  • Capability to establish and sustain effective working relationships.
  • Skill in organizing tasks, delegating responsibilities, and achieving set objectives.
  • Competence in planning, organizing, and prioritizing deadlines.
  • Aptitude for evaluating processes and recommending continuous quality improvements.
  • Proficiency in researching, analyzing, and interpreting data to produce comprehensive reports.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Assist in addressing operational challenges across CMP.
  2. Collaborate with the billing department to resolve operational issues.
  3. Work with the IT department to troubleshoot IT-related operational challenges and enhance workflow processes.
  4. Coordinate ongoing Medicare audits.
  5. Support the development of an implementation plan for ICD-10.
  6. Assist in establishing the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model at each CMP site.
  7. Foster patient, staff, and provider satisfaction.
  8. Encourage input and contributions from team members to enhance collaborative care delivery.
  9. Act consistently and fairly, taking responsibility for actions and serving as a role model within CMP.
  10. Help ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements as per organizational needs.
  11. Participate in meetings as necessary.
  12. Maintain confidentiality at all times.
