Job Title: Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR)

Job Overview: The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and management of all HR functions within the organization. This executive role involves developing and executing HR strategies that align with the company's goals, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring the effective management of talent, performance, and organizational development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's overall business objectives and drive organizational growth.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Ensure effective employee relations practices, resolve complex employee issues, and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with industry standards and support employee satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and manage risks related to HR practices and employee relations.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of HR systems and processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive organizational success.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with executive leadership and employees at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
