The Executive Director, DI/Immigration Business Development is responsible for leading business development initiatives
and activities within the DI and Immigration segment globally. This will include annual revenue generation targets. The candidate
will be responsible for building the GTM strategy for both immigration and the DI channel and execute it in key markets (sending and receiving).

  • Build the GTM playbook to develop the Immigration and DI segment within focus countries.
  • Develop and execute an effective organizational business development/partner strategy and
    all associated processes considering sending and receiving countries.
  • Manage business development activities and establish partnership arrangements resulting in
    top-line revenue growth for the company.
  • Work with global market leaders to craft TOEFL's global approach for student recruitment and immigration
    agent collaboration (Agent Business model).
  • Strategically identify key markets/verticals and strategic partnership opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Monitor and report on key trends, competitors and market/client needs, shares intelligence with internal
    teams (e.g., Product Management, Marketing, Program).
  • Develop and analyze metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales efforts.
  • Work closely with the program owners as well as the local entities (BV and other subsidiaries) to deliver program
    specific volumes/revenues at the regional level.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and agreements with associations and partnerships, with support from General Counsel,
    Legal, Tax, and Finance, as needed.
  • Develop effective strategies to build brand awareness and gain access to decision makers.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to the job function.
  • Accountable for key metrics include: # of DI's, # of TOEFL tests taken for immigration purposes, # of TOEFL
    scores pulled by DI's, revenue per channel (agents)
  • Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function.
  • Successful business development/partnership arrangements resulting in top-line revenue growth for the company. Business
    development in this context is creating mutually beneficial relationships with Education Institutions, English Schools, Associations,
    Credentialing, Licensing bodies, Government bodies and other external entities.
  • Business development processes and oversight.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, partnership arrangements and mutually beneficial business agreements including
    creating ecosystem arrangements between multiple parties.
  • Immigration market experience is preferred
  • Strong business experience
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in the formation and leadership of a newly created area/workstream
